Krenkerup Brewery

Take a trip to the historic Krenkerup estate, set in the idyllic East Lolland countryside like the apple of an egg between fields, woodlands and breathtaking lakes. Award-winning quality beer is brewed here using only local and pure ingredients grown on the estate's own fields. Quench your thirst with a freshly brewed draught beer while sitting in the shade, taking in the magnificent estate and idyllic surroundings.

Knuthenborg Safari Park

Take the family on an unforgettable trip to Northern Europe's largest safari park, Knuthenborg Safaripark. Here you can experience many exotic animals and get up close and personal. An experience for young and old, just a stone's throw from Bandholm.

As a guest at Bandholm Badehotel, you get 20% off your ticket when purchasing online at Knuthenborg's website. The discount code will be given to you by the reception at the hotel.

Feel the grandeur as you stand surrounded by the 12 large stone figures that give a sensory impression of the other world. The monument, which can best be described as Lolland's answer to Stonehenge, is located in a field in the "Lolland Alps" overlooking the Småland Sea, and is a work of art that is still being worked on. And along with the ethereal music generated from the position of the sun, moon and earth in relation to each other, no two visits will ever be the same.

The islands of the Small Islands Sea

Feel the special tranquillity of the idyllic islands of the Småland Sea among orchards and cosy island life. A short trip from the coast are the popular islands of Femø, Fejø and Askø, where you can get close to breathtaking scenery, experience fantastic birdlife and throw a fishing line in the water and reel in a sea trout. From Bandholm you can easily take the ferry to Askø, which is connected to Lilleø by a 700 m long dam. The island is particularly popular in spring, when all the fruit trees are in blossom.

Frederiksdal Cherry

Taste world-class, award-winning cherry wine with a visit to Denmark's largest vineyard. Frederiksdal Estate. Frederiksdals is located on the westernmost tip of Lolland, right next to the Langeland Belt and according to DMI is the driest place in Denmark, and among the sunniest. But don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunity to taste the wet goods that wine critics are calling a breakthrough for Danish wine production.
